West Virginia University's John Chambers College of Business and Economics is shaping the future of business.
For this internship, I worked as a graphic design intern for the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University. My main duties included designing print media such as banners, publications, folders, and fliers, as well as digital media like large-format screen graphics and web graphics. I was also tasked with designing and maintaining web pages using HTML & CSS within the university’s content management system, CleanSlate. Over the course of the internship I collaborated with a variety of faculty and staff throughout the College to better understand projects and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
This 20 page viewbook was developed as marketing material for potential undergraduates at the Chambers College. The viewbook contains an assortment of content about the college, including details and quick facts about the majors offered, the innovation in learning provided, and info about the newly constructed building that houses the college, Reynolds Hall.
I designed both roll-up and table-top banners for the college. These banners include a Chambers advertisement, a promotional piece for a center located within the college, and undergraduate recruitment.
This folder was designed for recruitment purposes, acting as the storage device for any important documentation given to potential students.
The content from the viewbook was transferred into two Instagram story posts, one detailing information about the college experience and the other detailing information about major's.
Infostations are a network of large format digital screens strategically placed around the WVU campus. These displays act as an integral point of communication between students, faculty, and staff. I designed a variety of infostation graphics during my internship in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
The Empowerment Speaker Series was a lecture series at the Chambers College featuring prominent WVU Alumni. I designed the visual identity and marketing material for the series to be used across all digital touchpoints, including social media and infostations.
I was tasked with designing thumbnails for YouTube and Instagram across multiple projects.
These digital badges were designed a part of a rewards program for WVU students completing achievements or milestones on the student engagement software known as Suitable. The collection was titled "Chambers Success Bound".
